About Me
My favorite way to spend the summer is on my road bike but I had fun last summer chasing around the Kenosha Veledrome with my son on those crazy fixed gear bikes without brakes. Hot and sunny is the best but a warm fall day on the DesPlains River Trail is a favorite way to spend a Sunday after noon in October. I started doing women's triathlons 4 years ago but with the cancelation of the Trek in July and no Iron Woman in Racine I was left without a tri this year and little motivation to run or swim so I am shooting for my first century ride before the summer ends. I generally ride alone or with one or two other friends but I'm looking for others to ride with and that will challenge me to go further and faster or just enjoy the ride with and keep me motivated through the cold months. |
